EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY
Root Beliefs
I believe educational leaders have a responsibility to their student body, colleagues, and community. I believe that a true leader must create an open environment where faculty members feel respected and have clear goals. I also believe that students can only learn if they feel safe and supported. As a leader, I focus on team building and collaboration with all staff members and students.
As a school leader, I understand the importance of collaboration and using the term "we." Because in order for a school community to have success the school leader must have a collaborative attitude open to ideas and critic. Always understanding that student social-emotional and academic growth is the end goal.
Social equity is essential in a leader's philosophy and I believe that all educators must strive to create an even leveled playing field. Assuring that students have the proper supports in order to succeed.
